Climate and Temperatures in Spain
Spain in general has a temperate climate but there is much diversity between the weather north and south of the Cantabrian Mountains.
North of the range, where one finds the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia, is the rainy part of Spain, which has a maritime climate, with only slight temperature variations, cool summers and mild winters. Skies are mostly cloudy and rainfall is frequent, though less so in summer.
